Staff Direct are currently seeking a Healthcare Assistant for a part time position in

Co. Galway. Staff Direct specialize in placing skilled professionals throughout Ireland

and we are seeking an individual to help deliver the highest quality of care to

patients. We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and empathetic Healthcare Assistant to start immediately.

Key responsibilities include assisting with personal and practical care, facilitating independence and ensuring dignity, privacy and independence are respected, infection prevention and control, safeguarding and maintaining accurate patient records. This role is for agency healthcare assistance.

HCA Requirements:

·         Experience in a caregiving role. 6 months Nursing home experience preferred.

·         FETAC level 5 in Healthcare (‘Care of the Elderly’ and ‘Care Skills’ preferred)

·         Excellent knowledge of HIQA standards

·         Proof of eligibility to work in Ireland

·         Genuine passion for working in healthcare, compassionate and caring nature.

·         Drivers licence and access to car (preferred)

·         Willing to undergo Garda Vetting

Salary/Remuneration: Depending on Experience

Expected Hours: 13.5 weekly
